I am almost too embarrassed to admit this.
I bought a bottle of cat pheromones.
It is supposed to make the transition for my mom's cat to our home easier. And it is supposed to make it easier for my cat to adjust to another cat in the house.
I feel a little better because I just Googled "cat pheromone spray" and it has a ton of good reviews on Amazon and Petco, (and some not so good ones) but it's still such a dumb thing.
Have you ever tried this cat pheromone spray? Please tell me I'm not an idiot for buying it.

I have heard about it but I have never bought it. You are not crazy though.
I've never tried it but I have heard of it! I don't think you're crazy either...you have to let us know if it works though! In case we ever decide to get another cat...I wonder if it works with dogs? Haha.
My mom bought pheromone spray because she adopted a cat and it kept peeing on the rugs - and the spray is supposed to make cats happier. Unsure what her results have been from that, but I don't think you're an idiot for buying it :)
