I need to get it off my chest

I think its time for some confessin' 'round these parts!

*I get super confused in the meat aisle of the grocery store. Sometimes I just kind of poke at the packages until I randomly choose one.

*I kind of do that when I pick out melons in the produce department. And some vegetables.

*Since I have been sick, Craig has chosen to sleep on the couch for the last couple of nights. I have kind of been loving the extra room in bed. (I do miss him when I first wake up. I'm not heartless y'all)

*Sometimes I feel guilty or bad if I haven't posted in a while. But then I remember that my priorities are to be a good wife, teacher, friend first, and then my blog can fit in after that. Then I stop feeling bad.

*I put stickers on the calendar on days that I go to the gym. I really love when I get to put a sticker on it.  (My mom should have used a chore chart when I was a kid!)

*When I start a book, there is a good chance I will ignore everything/person in my life until I'm done with it. This weekend I read Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. I ignored my dog and my husband. The cats took turn sitting on my lap. (I highly recommend it, especially if you were a fan of Gone Girl.) The library just emailed me that another Gillian Flynn novel is ready for me to check out. I wish it was movie day at school so I could read. (KIDDING!!! sort of)

*I keep pinning baby costumes on Pinterest.
What do you have to confess?

I don't feel bad for not posting..I feel bad for not reading other blogs and commenting. Because, most days, I can put a post together OR I can read and comment. I can't do both. (Like right now, I should be getting ready for school...)

OH!! I should read Dark Places!!! Also- I am similarly confused picking meat and melons. And I feel like other patrons are judging me.

I liked all the Gillian Flynns so far.

I love sleeping in bed alone/with the dogs. I spread OUT.

I might steal your idea for putting stickers on days I do some physical activity. I do love a reward system.

Feel better soon!

I usually end up sleeping on the couch when I'm sick. Even though we have a perfectly good guest bed haha.

I sometimes feel bad for not posting, too. I LIKE blogging, but I do have other things to do sometimes. So far, I do great with getting posts written over the weekend for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I don't usually manage to get past that!

Hahaha I totally poke at things at the grocery store too, because I typically have no clue what is good and what is bad.

I also love it when I fall asleep in bed alone. James moves around too much. I also like it when he's magically there when I wake up :)

I constantly feel bad about not posting, but then I forget about it about 10 minutes later. Haha. It's okay to push it to the back burner because there's no reason why your blog should ruin any aspect of your life.

I used to color my calendar on the days that I worked out. It is incredibly and weirdly satisfying!

OMG! I think the meat section at the grocery store is the only section that makes me feel like I'm just playing grown up instead of really being one. I can never figure out what meat to buy if it's anything other than ground beef, pork chop, or boneless skinless chicken breast!
